Summer house Otterön

The idea was to preserve the original feeling that the family recognized from their previous summer place, but add all the amenities needed for a large family, says Harald Lode. The house, which is located on a slope, consists of two parts that are placed on a big “platform” that makes the groundfloor of the bulidings and the terrace. The whole structure is completely surrounded by nature. The location of the house and the fact that it was very important for the family to have an architectural identity and quality have reflected the whole process.

The summer house was prefabricated and trasportet to the Island. The building time on site was 1 beautiful month in the spring of 2011
