Jettebo - Gloppe Risør

CABIN

Cabin Jettebo

“A secret hide away”.

The cabin was carefully planned to fit into the landscape between the rocks and trees - almost making it into a wooden rock that disappear into the landscape. The building alternates between open and closed spaces. Windows are carefully placed to give views towards distant landscape or to a moss grown rock outside your bedroom window. The spaces between the rocks and the building creates extended “interior” spaces erasing the borders between inside and outside.

Cabin «Jettebo» has been featured inn D2 – one of Norway’s leading lifestyle and culture magazines.

“SØKK VEKK “

Arkitekten la hytta ned i en forsenkning i terrenget og skapte følelsen av at man er helt for seg selv.

The cabin was designed and built over a period of approx. 2 years - 2007 - 2008.
